GP Partner - Parkside Surgery
Parkside Surgery //North Belfast Federation
Applications will close on 8th September 2026
Information about the role and benefits
We are an urban practice in North Belfast seeking a new GP partner. This role offers a structured, time-bound route to partnership with an initial 6-to-12-month salaried contract acting as a mutual evaluation period. This allows the successful candidate and our existing partners to assess compatibility before making a long-term commitment. Advancement to partnership is the intended outcome, though both parties retain the option to conclude the contract at the end of the term.
The current partnership of 4 is well established, work extremely well together and share similar values. Our aim is to provide quality healthcare for patients and a happy working environment for staff. We value continuity of care which improves patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
We are looking for a well-rounded, common sense GP to join our practice. We are seeking 6 sessions per week, these session numbers and days are up for negotiation. Holiday entitlement is 6 weeks per annum in addition to bank holidays. 1 week study leave is available each year. We have not experienced difficulty in taking leave or booking locums. Our new partner would be involved in undergraduate teaching and we are happy for them to develop other clinical interests within the partnership.
