Hours of work: 24 hours (Tuesday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £25.64per hour
Preferred experience: Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Management experience, HR and Operational management.
JOB SUMMARY
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, managing recruitment, performance and compliance with employment laws. They will act as a bridge between the partnership and employees, implementing policies, handling grievances, and fostering employee development. Key roles include driving strategic staffing, reviewing salary structures, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
Responsible for maintaining a financial overview of the Practice working closely with the Business Manager as well as supporting the GP partners to uphold the values and aims of the practice. .The Practice Manager is also responsible for practice direction and forward planning. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to support and develop our team through proactive leadership, ensuring the wellbeing of patients and all staff, and demonstrating effective management to ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe management of the Practice.
