Practice nurse vacancy . Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings with option of additional Thursday afternoon. Treatment room duties and chronic disease management.
We are seeking to recruit a General Practice Nurse to join our team in Ligoniel health centre, providing care to our 4000 patients in the local community of North Belfast.
Hours of work - 12-16 hrs/week, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday mornings with option of Thursday afternoon negotiable.
We offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience.
General practice nursing experience preferred but not essential. We would consider a suitably qualified nurse who was willing to undertake any further necessary training to fulfill the role.
We are an Emis web practice. The successful nurse must have basic IT skills as all patient care must be recorded on our computer system.
The role will involve treatment room duties such as wound care,venepuncture, urinalysis, BP monitoring, ECGs, warfarin management and injections. The nurse will be involved in management of the treatment room including equipment and stock. The nurse will be required to provide immunisations, including childhood vaccines and chronic disease management for QOF. Ability to perform, or willingness to train to perform chronic disease management clinics will be essential.
