An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, friendly team at Mourne Family Surgery as a Maternity cover for 4 sessions per week (Thursday/Fridays preferable) for approx. 6 months with an expected start date in April 2026.
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified GPs for whom we provide a mentoring role.
Information about the practice
Mourne Family Surgery is a successful, well thought of practice ideally situated between the Irish Sea and the Mountains of Mourne.
The medical team consists of 3 GP partners and 2 salaried GPs, an ANP, 2 practice nurses, a First Contact physiotherapist, a Mental Health Practitioner and a CBT therapist. There are 2 practice managers, an IT lead, an admin lead and 5 receptionists on the admin team. We also currently have 2 GP Trainees.
We are a QUB training practice.
The practice serves almost 6000 patients.
We are a friendly, close knit team with guaranteed coffee breaks and a good support network.
