16 hours per week. Band 6 Equivalent. We're a busy, forward-thinking GP practice, and we are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team.
You'll work alongside GPs, nursing colleagues, pharmacists, and our administrative team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients.

The Role
As Practice Nurse you will provide nursing services to our patient population through evidence-based, quality-focused care, you will be an instrumental part of long-term condition care management, with oversight and support from our GPs for chronic conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disease.
You will carry out a range of nursing assessments and provide appropriate care and treatment, working alongside GPs and the Senior Practice Nurse and independently where appropriate, in line with practice policies and protocols.
You will help maintain high standards of care and contribute to identifying the needs of our practice population.
As Practice Nurse, you will have a working knowledge of the GMS contract, NICE guidelines, and the Northern Ireland Contract Assurance Framework (NICAF).
You will meet NMC requirements and work within the current NMC Code to agreed practice standards and protocols, helping to ensure clear communication between clinical, administrative and community teams.
About You
Previous experience is advantageous, but we are happy to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is:
Essential
Patient-focused in their approach
Calm and professional under pressure
Skilled in written notes, coding, and communication
An NMC-registered nurse with active registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable
Previous experience in a primary care or general practice nursing role .
Experience of chronic disease management and structured health reviews.
