Information about the role

General Practitioner- GP Partner or Salaried GP ( with a view to partnership) to replace departing salaried GP. Location: Tynan Surgery, 15 Dartan Ree, Tynan, Co. Armagh, BT60 4QT

Contract type: Permanent, 4 to 8 sessions per week to be agreed with successful candidate.

Salaried GP Salary: £92,000 pa pro rata (based on 8 sessions each week). The remuneration package will also include indemnity cover.

Information about the practice

Tynan Surgery is located in the picturesque village of Tynan, 8 miles from Armagh City, 12 miles from Dungannon and 7 miles from Keady.

We are a 4 partner GMS practice with a practice list size of 6500. The practice directly employs its administrative and nursing team. In addition, our team includes Federation employed General Practice Pharmacists, an ANP and a General Practice Nurse.

The practice uses the EMIS computer system. We provide family planning and minor surgery services to our patients.

We are a QUB teaching practice for medical students and provide ANP training.

We are looking for a GP to join our team who is keen to deliver high quality patient focused care, is committed to self-development and is willing to work with us to take the practice into the future.

The position will be available from 1/11/25

We invite applications from doctors who will have obtained CCT and are eligible for NI performers list, or will have completed training by 31/3/26.
