Information about the practice
Inver Surgery is located in Larne, Co. Antrim and serves just over 5300 patients and growing. Our current team consists of 3 GP Partners, a Practice Nurse, Practice based Pharmacist and an experienced admin team including a Practice Manager and Deputy Manager all using the VISION clinical system.
We work closely with the local District Nursing Team as well as Community Midwives, Public Health Nurses, Health Visitors and Nursing Homes. We are proud to be a training practice and regularly host trainees as well as facilitating medical students from Queen’s University Belfast.
We work closely with the two other practices in our building and share educational activities, coffee breaks and lunchtime meetings. We provide GMS as well as a variety of enhanced services including family planning, minor surgery and joint injections.
The practice has also secured funding to extend their premises to incorporate a multi-disciplinary team with works due to start 2024/2025
The package for the successful candidate will entail a contract based on the BMA model contract, inclusion in the NHS Pension, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata and inclusive of study leave & admin / CPD time) and competitive salary commensurate on experience.
