Information about the role
Replacement Practice Manager role due to retirement.
Main Responsibilities Day to day management of the practice.
Provide support to the Primary Care Team. Liaise with Accountant regarding Practice finances/salaries/pensions. Liaise with HSCB and other outside agencies . Management of HR, Health & Safety.
Managing & implementing policies & procedures required by the GP Practice.
Procurement manager - purchasing medical & non-medical supplies.
Organising Chronic Disease Management clinics, immunisation & child health clinics.
Undertaking & managing any other responsibilities or duties that may arise for efficient running of the practice
Essential Criteria
Experience in Medical Practice Management or equivalent. Experience in HR, Health & Safety, Employment Law. Ability to work autonomously with a supportive management team. Experience of working in a team. IT literacy.
Good People Management.
Be honest & reliable. Have a good understanding of issues around Confidentiality & Clinical Governance. Be fully flexible & able to cover as required.
Desirable Criteria
Practice Manager Diploma or equivalent.
This is a permanent position (following a trial period). Full time or part-time negotiable.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Information about the practice
Our practice cares for approximately 2150 patients. Our team consists of 2 G.P. partners, Diabetic, Asthma/COPD & Well Woman Nurse, Practice Pharmacist, Reception staff. We work with a Trust run treatment room. We are looking forward to welcoming M.D.T.s teams in the near future.
